 Rules for a Good Life

Self-esteem and happiness goes hand-in-hand. It’s a great balance in life when both are in sync. Happiness has many different meanings; as different as each individual. The same applies to creating a financial plan; it should be individualized to meet specific goals and family needs. Self-esteem is about feeling good about one self and is an important step in finding happiness.

It’s difficult to achieve wealth and a comfortable life if you are constantly in a state of stress and/or anxiety. Staying focused is a challenge when you are at odds. There are numerous techniques one may try to face these challenges.

1.            Never put off till tomorrow what you can do today.

2.            Never trouble another for what you can do yourself.

3.            Never spend your money before you have it.

4.            Never buy what you do not want because it is cheap; it will never be dear to you.

6.            Pride costs us more than hunger, thirst, and cold.

7.            Never repent of having eaten too little.

8.            Nothing is troublesome that we do willingly.

9.            Don’t let the evils that have never happened cost you pain.

10.          Always take things by their smooth handle.

10.          When angry, count to 10 before you speak; if very angry, count to 100.

11.          Pay yourself first.

12.          Don’t allow your possessions to rule your life
